Description & Requirement
This position functions as a technical expert in electronics engineering for the Bureau of Air Management. This position is responsible for the engineering design, evaluation, construction, operation and maintenance of specialized pollution monitoring instruments, data acquisition instruments and ancillary equipment hardware and software. Troubleshooting and maintaining all instruments to ensure they function as coherent systems. Emphasis is placed on creative design and implementation of data acquisition and air pollution monitoring systems to meet the needs of the Bureau's staff, Regional Air Program staff and all Department staff in general. These systems are then monitored, evaluated and maintained for effectiveness.
